DISCOVERY
OF MOROCCO TOUR (14 DAYS)
For
the sake of providing more comfort and enough time for the sightseeing
of Marrakech, we have introduced a slight modification to the
initial program of the traditional tour: 3 nights will be spent
in Marrakech instead of 2, with a full day excursion to Essaouira
including lunch. This change excludes the night at the Safir hotel
in Safi, whose standing is no longer meets with our guests' expectations.
DAY
1: CASABLANCA/RABAT (95km)
Arrive at Casablanca Mohamed V Airport. Welcome and transfer to
join the group for a tour of Casablanca. Seafood lunch at the
Cornice. Afternoon departure for Rabat. Sightseeing of the city.
Dinner and overnight at the Belere hotel.
DAY
2: RABAT/MEKNES (110km)
After a buffet breakfast, depart for Meknes. Upon arrival, tour
of the city and lunch. Afternoon visit of Volubilis and Moulay
Idriss. Return to Meknes for dinner and overnight stay at the
Rif hotel.
DAY
3: MEKNES/FEZ/MEKNES
After a buffet breakfast, the morning will be devoted to the discovery
of this prestigious Imperial city. Lunch in the wonderful Moroccan
restaurant of Les Mérinides hotel. The afternoon if free for a
personal exploration of the city. Return to the Rif Hotel for
dinner and overnight.
DAY
4: MEKNES/MIDELT/ERFOUD (450km)
After a buffet breakfast, depart for Erfoud through the Middle
Atlas. Stop for lunch in Midelt and continue on to Erfoud. Check
in at the Salam hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY
5: ERFOUD/TINGHIR/EL KELAA DES M'GOUNA (260km)
After a buffet breakfast, depart for Tineghir via Rissani where
the group will visit the ruins of Ksar Abbar. Continue through
the Tinejdaad road. After a lunch in Tinghir, visit the Todra
Gorges, then continue on to El Kelaa des M'Gouna via Boulmane.
Check in at the Roses du Dades hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY
6: EL KELAA DES M'GOUNA/OUARZAZATE/ZAGORA (235km)
After a buffet breakfast and a short visit of El Kelaa des M'Gouna,
depart for Ouarzazate through the "Dades Valley." Lunch
in Ouarzazate and continue on to Zagora with a visit of the Amezrou
village en route. Check in at the Tinsouline hotel. Dinner and
overnight.
DAY
7: EXCURSION TO M'HAMID (176km)
Early breakfast and excursion to M'Hamid. Upon arrival, visit
the village and return back to Zagora with a stop at the sandy
dunes of Tinfou. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon visit of Tamegroute.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY
8: EXCURSION TO AÏT BEN HADDOU
After a buffet breakfast, visit of Ouarzazate including the Tifoulout
and Taourirt Kasbahs. Continue on to Aït Ben Haddou village. Upon
arrival, lunch in a typical restaurant, then visit the old Kasbah.
Return to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY
9: OUARZAZATE/MARRAKECH (205km)
After a buffet breakfast, depart for Marrakech via Tadder and
the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. Arrive in Marrakech and check in at the
Almoravides hotel. After lunch, the afternoon will be free for
a personal exploration of the city. Dinner in a typical restaurant
with a native folklore show. Return to the hotel for accommodation.
DAY
10: MARRAKECH
After a buffet breakfast, the whole morning will be devoted to
an historical tour of Marrakech. After lunch, continuation of
the tour, including the souks and the Jemma el Fna place. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel.

11: EXCURSION TO ESSAOUIRA (330km)
After a buffet breakfast, depart for an excursion to Essaouira.
Tour of the city and lunch. Return back to Marrakech. Dinner and
accommodation at the hotel.
DAY
12: MARRAKECH/CASABLANCA (240km)
After a buffet breakfast, the morning will be free. Diffa Fantasia
lunch under caidal tents with show and then depart for Casablanca.
Dinner and accommodation at El Kandara hotel.
DAY
13: CASABLANCA
After a buffet breakfast, transfer to the airport for return flight.
Assistance with the boarding formalities.
